What to do if damages were noted during the exit inspection?
Entry inspection conducted by the owner: We advise you to be transparent with the owner and inform them. The owner will be responsible for listing in the report all items that are not in the same condition as at entry in order to establish a comparison. If damages are noted at the end of the rental and result from accidental damage, the multi-risk home insurance may, under certain conditions, cover part of the repairs, taking into account the depreciation rate and the supporting documents provided.
Entry inspection conducted by Paris Attitude: The agent present will be responsible for listing in the report all items that are not in the same condition as at entry in order to establish a comparison. This report will be sent to you as well as to the owner; if there are damages, the owner has 30 days to inform us and then an additional 30 days to send us all supporting documents that will be used for any deductions from your deposit.
