Do I need to provide diagnostics for my apartment?

Yes, property diagnostics are mandatory. When signing the lease, you will be asked for a copy of the diagnostics for your apartment.

The following items will be required:

• the state of natural and technological risks (ERNT),

• the energy performance diagnosis (DPE). We can recommend a diagnostician if needed,

• the report on the risks of lead exposure (CREP) if your housing is in a building constructed before January 1, 1949,

• the state of the internal electrical installation if the installation is more than 15 years old,

• the state of the internal gas installation if the installation is more than 15 years old.

Complying with these obligations allows for a smooth rental process and helps avoid unnecessary disputes with the tenant.
