What to do if my tenant has a problem with the lock or has lost their keys?

Edited

If the tenant informs you of the loss of their keys, ask them to file a loss report with the police and then invite them to contact their insurance.

For the reproduction of keys, you can take care of it for them (especially if there is a Vigik to redo) or you can give them a duplicate that they will take care of duplicating.

If you take care of it, they will need to pay you initially, and you will need to provide them with an invoice. If the tenant reports a malfunction with the lock or their key, it will depend on the origin of the problem. If it is due to improper handling, the replacement/repair will be their responsibility. On the other hand, if it is due to wear and tear confirmed by the locksmith, the replacement/repair will be your responsibility. In the case of wear and tear, the tenant's insurance will not cover the intervention.
